Sorry for the delay in sending this review of the services rendered for me by Climate Design in December & January.
My husband was in the ICU with Covid at the end of December when I lost the heat to my entire 1st floor. I contacted Climate Design and from the first moment we talked you and your team extended understanding and compassion for the situation I was in. The heating system was deemed irreparable (I knew it was old) and the weather was brutally cold. You were booked out for three or four weeks so you could not put in a new system for a while. Your team offered me space heaters and came over and drained the pipes to avoid their freezing.
When your technicians came to put in a new gas heating system for me, I could not have been more pleased and impre sed with their capabilities, neatness, friendliness and compassion. I had lost my husband to Covid. In the process of installing my new first floor system, they noticed that my 2°d floor oil system was running rather rough. They adjusted the system and it has run quieter & more efficiently since their adjustment.
When the two gentlemen (and I mean that from the bottom of my heart) were leaving, they noticed that my dryer vent was clogged. They cleared out what they could and advised me to have the vent replaced, which I did.
I work in a service industry and we are thrilled when customers take the time to compliment our crew and our services. Climate Design and all their representatives that I worked with went beyond the normal scope of rendering service. They are all to be highly complimented on their professionalism, knowledge and compassion. I will forever be grateful for their going beyond the scope of their work to aid me during a very difficult time.”
“Sean Hagerty is the main reason I signed with Climate Design to replace my furnace. I have been a customer of Climate Design for many years. However, my last couple of interactions with Climate Design were less than satisfying. Sean Hagerty was a pleasant surprise. He knew his product. He listened to my concerns and did not respond with the condescension so many women receive from salesmen. He advised without putting down other companies. He offered help no matter my final decision. He did not pester me with calls pushing for a decision. Basically, he treated me and my intelligence with respect. He is someone who knows who he is and does not have to rely on gimmicks and not so true guarantees to get the job done. He also has a natural sense of humor. He has integrity. The contract has been signed, but Sean has continued to offer his help should I need guidance. I know that I can call him without feeling that I no longer count. Climate Design needs to keep him. And then came Joe Garcia to install the furnace. As soon as I met Joe, I felt comfortable and confident that he knew what he was doing. He was no nonsense about his work. He was considerate and kept me informed as to how things were progressing. He explained what things were and how they functioned. I knew the work being done was being done with knowledge and experience. He left my basement cleaner than before. He’s a good man. Joe’s trainee Shawn should become an asset to Climate design because he has Joe as his mentor. All in all, Jake, personnel like Sean Hagerty and Joe Garcia make Climate Design the successful company it is. And I trust that Climate Design will continue to hire people. like them who will represent the company with the professionalism and sincerity I received from Sean and Joe. And I sincerely hope that you will share this letter with them”
“I just wanted to let someone in this company know how pleased I am with your company and service. I purchased a house in Wilmington last November and it desperately needed an entire new HVAC system (it was an old steam heat system with big cast iron radiators). I researched several local companies and decided on Climate Design Systems based on a few things, one being your triple A Better Business Bureau rating. I called your company and was immediately set up with an appointment for an estimate. Rubil was the sales rep that came. He was there for quite a while, examined every part of the house and after spending some time with him I felt confident enough to make a decision. This was a substantial investment for me and I was nervous but I am writing to tell you how pleased I was with the entire process. Rubil took care of everything. Every detail. He was available and easy to contact. Any questions or issues I had were immediately addressed. The work crew that was here also did wonderful job. Everyday before they left everything that could be picked up and cleaned was. Even portable heaters were provided while they were installing the new system. The job could not have gone smoother. And he helped me with the rebates from Mass Save. He was amazing. So, thank you again, a special thank you to Rubi I for everything he did and I am looking forward to my ac this summer and lower heating bills next winter.”

“My wife and I have nothing but the highest praise for all of your personnel who recently assisted us when our furnace suddenly had to be replaced. We were in the midst of an unexpected emergency over which we had no control, at the mercy of a company previously unknown to us. Right from the beginning–when your team arrived to diagnose the situation–and then when your comfort advisor came and calmly set in motion a plan immediately to install a new furnace–and then when the install crew arrived at 7:30 am the next day (as promised) to install the new unit, on a Saturday, no less–EVERYTHING was handled with professional courtesy and expertise. We can’t remember another time when we have experienced such top service by people who could not have been better at their work or more considerate of us. We are deeply grateful to all of them. “Mr. Thomas, I recently had the pleasure of having my central air replaced by your company. I wanted to write to you and compliment the crew that came out to my house and installed my new A/C. They were on-time, professional, thoughtful and did a great job. I can barely hear my new system (the air handler is over my head when I sleep!), there is no more whistling noise going through my large return, and I my upstairs and downstairs zones are working. By the way, before your crew left last Thursday they asked to see my other central air unit (my house has two). I showed them the condenser and the air handler. The company that had installed it had installed piping from the condenser in front of the area where I would replace my filter – making it nearly impossible to change. Well, your people took one look at that and said that that wasn’t right. They rebuilt the pipe so I could access the filter. This is what I call going above and beyond. I’m more grateful to them than you know, because every 30 days I would have to go through all sorts of contortions to get my filter in and out of there. Now it’s just open, slap it in, and I’m done. I’ll be recommending your company to anyone who asks.”
