Turn off your water valve and go to check on the water meter. If you see a smaller meter (known as the leak meter) twitching, it’s a good indication that you have a plumbing leak somewhere at home.

After you notice a plumbing leak, make sure that your water is turned off first to minimize where the damage can spread. After you’ve ensured that this is done, contact our team right away! We can respond to plumbing emergencies 24/7.

Some of the warning signs of needing boiler repairs can be applied to other types of heating systems, but there are a few things that are unique to boilers. Regardless, you can always give our team a call if you notice any of the following:

  • Your flames are yellow or orange instead of blue
  • Visible rusting or water leaks
  • Rooms take far too long to heat up
  • You hear a lot of strange noises when operating
  • Unusual energy bill spikes

There are a few different reasons why your energy bills may have spiked. The cost of energy may have increased, your windows and doors may not be sealed properly, or you may have poor insulation. It could also point to an inefficient heating or cooling system. If you’ve been able to eliminate the other possibilities, our team can fix any issues with your energy systems.

Unlike a standard heating or cooling system, HVAC systems need to be maintained twice per year to account for both the hottest and coldest seasons. The best practice is to get it inspected once during the spring and once during the fall.
